Colchicum 'Waterlily' has finally come out of hiding. Hard to find a more romantic flower at this time of the year 🍂

Not the rarest of birds here, but still mighty impressive and a pleasure to watch. A pair of young Buzzards have taken residence in the garden, probably to feast on our catastrophically high population of voles. They should be well fed this year! 🐀

Colour from the garden, with a little sprinkle of fresh thyme. I've grown about 80 tomato varieties over the years but my favourite is the pale yellow 'White Queen' 🍅

Incredible visit to one of the last primary forests in Europe, Biogradska Gora in Montenegro. Discovering the ancient trees, streams lined with giant butterburs and glacial lakes was quite the experience under a thunderstorm!

Getting lost in the depths of the Earth today, looking for some cool air... Fun descent into a karstic canyon, very little water though. 🪨

Rainbow over Kotor 🌈 No water today, so a trip to the mountain was needed to escape the heat ⛰️

The strange and seldom seen "beauty" of the underwater world - Mediterranean moray waiting for its prey. How I'm feeling right now after being deprived of diving by painful ear problems 😞😥😩 (my camera, not my pic). On the less sad side, I did see a seahorse which was a bit of a life tick 🥰
