Garden grief: when yellow becomes the new green

Snippet of ordinary nature. An industrial estate about to be built on, "improved" as we say, but an oasis of life, almost invisible to us. And...relax! 🍸 That time of the year...countryside life 🌾 😌 Copper pot and cherries, perfect jam in the making. 🍒 That time of the year when days don't have enough hours to harvest all the delicacies from the garden 😔 Blue and green, old and new, rock and concrete. City done right. ❤️ my second home land, Luxembourg 🇱🇺 Saxifraga stolonifera 'Nezu Jinja' looking rather handsome in the shade garden. A Japanese collection from @asianflora @aoba_pepiniere Championing the "wild pond" aesthetic here. Not only looks relaxing, it also has functionality! Some pond owners complain about the lack of wildlife in their pretty ponds - animals need cover and support when they come to drink or breed! Large plants to hide under, tufted plants to feed without being detected, tall stems for insects to moult on... Garden joy! Fresh strawberries from the garden 🍓 #nofilterneeded The natural world is sometimes too beautiful to look at! The rare and elusive Apollo butterfly in the Vercors today. 🦋
