Why this blog?
Answer is pretty simple! I want to share my love for nature and show that even a few steps from home you can still discover things you had never suspected!
I intend to post mostly nature pictures, however, don’t be mad if I share on more general ecology topics, gardening or insects!

Blog posts will be either in English or French….if you need a translation, you can always ask Google. But I always give the scientific names in latin, so you should be able to find the common names quite easily. If you need further information, don’t hesitate to ask, I usually don’t bite ! 😉
Les messages seront postés en français ou en anglais. Pour une traduction, vous pouvez toujours demander à l’ami Google. Par contre, les noms scientifiques (en italique) sont en latin, il est donc facile de trouver les équivalents français. Si vous souhaitez plus de renseignements, n’hésitez pas à me contacter…je ne mords pas! 😉

You are so right. I’m not likely to find a doormouse (so I’m thankful for your post so I could experience it) but I have several mysteries outside my walls that keep me ever searching. The latest one is a sound I kept hearing deep in my myrtle It sounded like a cross between a cricket and a frog. Every day a new amazement.
